National Defense Authorization Act: Subtitle C – Legislation for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Disclosure
The UAP amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is historic. For the first time, the government officially mandates all government – wide UAP information be transmitted to the National Archives with the clear intent that the information be disclosed to the public. The Act demands that Special Access Programs (SAP) involving UFO/UAP information and engaging with defense corporations be revealed to the relevant Congressional committees before they get federal funding. If Congress is not properly informed, these programs will violate the law and be prohibited from receiving federal funds. This is unprecedented. The NDAA establishes six Congressional committees that will oversee the receipt of the information to the National Archives and the eventual disclosure to the public. This process democratizes the disclosure process and brings it within the purview of our elected representatives, not unelected bureaucrats beholden to the national security community. This enables us to bring public pressure to bear on our elected representatives.
The NDAA enables a national campaign focused on Congress to work out the implications of UAP realities for the government and the American people in a transparently inclusive and public way. What are the consequences of UAP disclosure on our body politic, technology, culture, education, and society as a whole? People everywhere will be empowered to start thinking in a whole new positive way and to work locally to generate discussions of the impact of the phenomena on their communities.
