A World-Class UFO Case
An unsuspecting British public woke up on Sunday, October 2nd, 1983, to a stark ‘News of the World’ (UK newspaper) headline: ‘UFO lands in Suffolk: and That’s Official’. With it, the Rendlesham Forest incident made its breakthrough into the mainstream media around the world.
Whilst the case had received some limited coverage, it was certainly not well known. The effect of the ‘News of the World’ story sent shockwaves around the world, and the area known as Rendlesham Forest would never be the same again.
The cat was out of the bag, and the Rendlesham Forest Incident began its journey to becoming one of the most important UFO cases in history.
