Do Not Let Them Gut Disclosure AgainThe UAP Disclosure Act is in the House-passed defense bill, one step from becoming law and one backroom deal away from being stripped out. Tell Congressional leadership to keep it in the final FY2027 NDAA.

We’re closer than ever, and the next few weeks will decide it. For the first time, an Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Disclosure Act is part of the House-passed National Defense Authorization Act, the one bill Congress must pass every year. Representative Eric Burlison (R-MO) got it there after months of procedural pushback, winning its adoption on July 22, 2026. Now the House and Senate are reconciling their bills behind closed doors, and that is where the UAPDA will live or die.

This is the moment. A free people must have a transparent government. Tell Congress to finish the job of UFO/UAP disclosure.

Email the House and Senate leaders, and the Chair and Ranking Member of the Armed Services and Intelligence Committees. Demand that the negotiators keep Representative Burlison's UAPDA in the final FY2027 NDAA — fully intact, with no provisions stripped.

What the UAPDA does. Modeled on the law that opened the JFK assassination records, it gathers government UAP records into a collection at the National Archives, requires their release unless the government can show specific harm, and creates an independent, Senate-confirmed review board with subpoena power to compel records and testimony. It also reaches records held by defense contractors, so the truth cannot be hidden inside private contracts.

What happened in 2023. Senators Chuck Schumer and Mike Rounds wrote a strong UAP Disclosure Act and passed it through the Senate as part of the defense bill. Then, behind closed doors, its heart was cut out. Before final passage, negotiators stripped the independent review board and recovered-materials provisions, leaving only a narrow records provision and little real accountability. The public demand was there. The political will to resist it was stronger.

The jeopardy now. The final negotiations are run by the leadership of the Armed Services and Intelligence Committees, the same forces who have kept UFOs secret for 80 years. In conference, they can weaken provisions or quietly delete them with no recorded vote and no public debate. Everything Burlison has achieved can be erased in a single closed meeting, exactly as happened in 2023.
