The UAP Transparency Pledge
The UAP Transparency Pledge Campaign is a national, nonpartisan initiative designed to strengthen congressional oversight and ensure responsible transparency. This campaign is built on one core truth: The American people have a right to know.
Transparency Is Not Optional. It's Constitutional.
Legislators and candidates, if you’d like to consider taking the pledge, please contact NPI’s public advocacy director, Olivia Cantu: pledge@newparadigminstitute.org

The Legislator Pledge
Core Commitments
1. LAWFUL TRANSPARENCY
I support responsible and full disclosure to Congress of all government records and information concerning UAP in a way consistent with presently applicable laws, and I will actively support legislative and oversight actions to ensure that full disclosure to Congress occurs and that only legitimate national security needs limit disclosure of this information to the public.
2. CONGRESSIONAL OVERSIGHT
I support stronger and closer congressional oversight of Executive Branch activities related to UAP, and I support ensuring that Congress receives complete and accurate information on this and related matters.
3. WHISTLEBLOWER PROTECTIONS
I support stronger legal protections for government personnel and contractors who provide information through lawful whistleblower channels to Congress concerning UAP without fear of retaliation.
4. RECORDS PRESERVATION
I support preservation and proper management of all executive branch records related to UAP and support legal sanctions against any improper destruction or concealment of records pertaining to this issue.
5. RESPONSIBLE DECLASSIFICATION
I support a structured and accountable declassification and public disclosure process with appropriate strict timelines and oversight mechanisms.
Statement of Principle
This pledge reflects my full commitment to responsible governance and lawful transparency. It does not require my adherence to any specific interpretation of UAP.
Nothing in this pledge shall be interpreted as requiring the public release of information that has been convincingly proven to Congress to damage United States military preparedness or national security.
By signing this pledge, I affirm my support for responsible transparency, lawful oversight, and accountability.
